Santa Barbara is Pretty Nice!

Three days later and we are still enjoying our experience here, very pleased that we will have an excuse to return. Weather has been great and the beaches are very walkable. The town has a Spanish/Med feel to it with low buildings, a mission church and a bike friendly environment. We had fun at the soccer game last night which featured a fairly international group of players including a Canadian from Vancouver.

Tomorrow we start to travel north with a short hop to Paso Robles for Monday night. This is the new Napa/Sonoma Valley with good value and good wines. From what we have read and heard this area is what Napa was like 15-20 years ago.

The weather will begin a 72 hour slide into cool and wet conditions tomorrow all the way north to home. Alas, no point camping any longer. We will begin the trek home with a couple of stops for shopping, etc.
