Don Quixote and White Windmills

Decisions have finally been made for travel this year and tickets arranged. Greece was calling (it always calls to me), but there is a clear hole in our Mediterranean travels and that hole belongs to Spain. So we will travel to the lands of the Moors, the Romans, Carthaginians and the Napoleonic wars between Wellington's battle squares and Napoleon's dragoon columns! There are also great wines, tapas bars and beautiful scenery to taste! We will be off in late September and Crete must wait yet again...sigh.
